MORE THAN JUST FOOTBALL

There’s more to Euxton Girls Football Club than just football, teams and their families travel together to tournaments and sporting events across the country.

2002
EUXTON GIRLS FC FOUNDED

The club was formed in 2002 by the current club chairman Dennis Winn, when his granddaughter told him she wanted to play football. That granddaughter was Nicola Barker, who is still involved in coaching at the club. This grassroots, girls only club was established to encourage and help give girls, from the age of 5 to 18, the opportunity to discover the game and recognise their talents. This season Euxton Girls are proud to have created an Open Age team too.
